Small Bar is our very own craft beer bar in Bristol city centre We try to stock the best beers in the world market, focusing on showcasing firstly the great beers being produced in the Bristol locality, and secondly the great beers being produced from around UK and further afield.
Our aim is to focus on quality of product and quality of service, and we believe if we can achieve this, we can provide a cracking little boozer, with a great atmosphere, awesome beers, wines and spirits, some of the best bar food in the area and quite possibly, the biggest cellar in the world… what more could you need!
Feedback on the bar
Don’t take our word for it though! Have a look below for some great feedback on the bar. These all come from craft beer drinkers in Bristol, and some from far beyond. We’ve been getting visits from all around the country, which is really great.
“We paid a visit to a new pub at 31 King Street, Bristol on Saturday… called Small Bar Bristol and here’s an assortment of images I took while there. I love the place !!!
I think (but I may be wrong here?) with The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer and The Beer Emporium – Bristol opposite, someone has coined the phrase it’s the King Street ‘Bristol Beer-muda Triangle’ !!!”
Dave – R.A.T.S (Real Ale Tasting Society) – December 2013
“Pub of the Week: Small Bar. If one new opening could sum up the drink scene in Bristol in 2013, then it’s Small Bar on King Street.
Bristol’s beer drinkers have never had it so good.”
Bristol Culture – December 2013
“The Small Bar which, incidentally, is not small at all but sprawls over several rooms is typical – squashy armchairs, candles (not on the armchairs obviously), bookshelves and a cool soundtrack which makes for a congenial place to hang out for people (often women) who haven’t previously been attracted by beer.”
Fiona Beckett – Matching Food and Wine – December 2013
